Paper machine clothing
PPS monofilament has good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, flame retardancy and dimensional stability. It can be used for filtering and conveying special heat media, such as the drying rack in the paper-production. The drying rack of the traditional paper-making dewatering conveyor belt is generally woven with PET monofilament. The drying temperature needs to be increased as the high-speed papermaking equipment gains popularity, which leads to great cut of the service life of the PET drying rack. The papermaking dryer fabric woven by PPS monofilament is not only resistant to high temperature, aging, and acid and alkali, but also resistant to hydrolysis. Compared with PET monofilament dryer, the service life of the product can be increased by several times.
Anti-corrosion of base materials
PPS powder coating is mainly used for industrial anti-corrosion. Compared with the traditional PTFE-lined anti-corrosion layer, PPS coating can adhere to the metal surface more firmly and will not fall off easily.
Composite extrusion
Mixed PPS fine powder and PTFE fine powder, can be used for wire sleeves via extrusion and sintering, or for self-lubricating composite via molding and sintering. Through compounding, the wear resistance and creep resistance of the PTFE material can be enhanced with almost no impact on the temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
Emulsion paint
Since the adhesion of the PTFE layer on the surface of the non-stick pan to the steel or aluminum of the substrate is low, a layer of primer compounded with PPS and fluorine materials is required to increase the adhesion of the non-stick coating.
